INSTALLING THE WATER PUMP

NOTE:

Always replace the entire water pump

assembly.

1. Install:

• impeller

• pin

• water pump drive pulley 

• circlip 

NOTE:

After installation, check that the impeller shaft

rotates smoothly.

2. Install:

• crankcase cover (right)

3. Install:

• o-ring 

NOTE:

Lubricate the O-ring with a thin coat of lithium-

soap-based grease.

4. Install:

• water pump cover 

New






