1 Device Basic Information Configuration
Overview
The device basic information feature provides you the following functions:
z Set the system name of the device. The configured system name will be displayed on the top of the
navigation bar.
z Set the idle timeout period for a logged-in user. That is, the system will log an idle user off the Web
for security purpose after the configured period.
Configuring Device Basic Information
Configuring System Name
Select Device > Basic from the navigation tree to enter the system name page, as shown in Figure 1-1.

Item Description
Sysname Set the system name.
Configuring Idle Timeout Period
Select Device > Basic from the navigation tree to enter the idle timeout page, as shown in Figure 1-2.
