￭ Product overview
The CMOD-01 multifunction extension module (external 24 V AC/DC and digital I/O)
expands the outputs of the drive control unit. It has two relay outputs and one transistor
output, which can function as a digital or frequency output.
In addition, the extension module has an external power supply interface, which can be
used to power up the drive control unit in case the drive power supply is not on. If you
do not need the back-up power supply, you do not have to connect it because the module
is powered from the drive control unit by default.
Note: With CCU-24 control unit, a CMOD-01 module is not necessary for external
24 V AC/DC supply connection. The external supply is connected directly to terminals
40 and 41 on the control unit.
