Most expanders are equipped with additional terminals 3A/3B and 4A/4B for branch expander wiring.

9.1.1 Loop configuration
NOTICE: All expanders/keypads are fitted with a termination jumper by default. In loop
configuration it’s imperative to have these jumpers fitted.
