In manual mode, the router availability can be forced (by hitting On”) or disabled (by hitting Off”), or
moving/clicking the slider shown in Figure 99.
Changes are saved by clicking “Ok”.
Be aware!
The control unit establishes a TCP-based connection while in external router mode (for getting rid of
UDP-related limitations enforced by some telecom operators while going 3G/4G) while makes use of a
communication protocol based on UDP while using the internal wireless adapter.
This fact implies that the control unit tries to connect to the central server UDP IP/port specified for Wi-
Fi connection in the latter case and tries to connect to the central server TCP IP/port specified for
GPRS while using the external router.
9.8.7 CMS
Aesys® TC-430™ is able to interoperate the Aesy CMS for multimedia contents (Aesys® Creo™). The
configuration of the interface towards the CMS can be adjuisted by accessing Setup
Interfaces setup
CMS”.

The description of Aesys® Creo™ goes far beyond the scope of this document; please refer to Aesys®
customer service for more details about it.
9.8.7.1 Mode
The CMS can be configured for working in one of the following modes:
- Automatic: the URL of the CMS channel to download content from is provided by the data file (VDB)
currently loaded in the control unit;
