8. Diagnostics
8.1 System info
Info about the system are available by selecting “Menu
Diagnostics menu
System info”. The screen in
Figure 51 is shown.

System info gathers info about:
- the device serial number (shown next to the screen title);
- the board, that is the electronic PCB the system is built-on;
- the operating system version being used by the device;
- the firmware version running on the low-level microcontroller hosted by the system;
- the application version;
- some application parameters (namely current name and/or MD5 of the system configuration, the
GPS settings, the version of the dirty words definition and the current timezone).
Aesys® customer service can ask these info when providing assistance.
By clicking the “Storage” button it is also possible to show a screen summarizing the current usage of mass
storages available on the system (Figure 52).
For every mass storage device the total size, the reserved size, the used space (both in bytes and as
percentage) and the free space is reported. Mass storage labels are properly colorized for pointing out the
attention on units which are lacking free space.
While in storage view, tapping on “System” button reverts back to system info screen.
