9. System configuration
TC-430™ configuration is accessed by entering the “Setup” menu (secondary function of the rightmost soft
key on system main screen).
Please consider that a part of system configuration can come with the current data file being used by the
system. In such case it is possible to locally override the settings defined in data file to match user needs.
The access to the system configuration menu is protected by password, being the default password “12345”
(Figure 66).

Be aware!
The character being typed is shown for a while on the screen during password entering: look back
before typing, for avoiding to reveal the system password to anyone is behind you.
Pressing (and holding) the touch-screen in correspondence of the “eye” icon reveals the typed text, in
order to let double-check the typed password.
Be aware!
Look back before pressing the “eye” icon, otherwise the system password will be revealed to anyone
standing behind you looking at the screen.
9.1 Change password
The password for accessing the system configuration menu can be changed, by selecting “Setup
Change
password”.
The new password has to be typed twice for confirmation.
