Figure 20: Signs clearing
“All” clears all the selected resources (destination, info message and P/R message), while “Dest”, “Info”,
“P/R” respectively clears the current destination, the current info message and the current P/R message (see
paragraphs 7.2.2 and 7.2.6 respectively for details about info messages and P/R messages).
The current destination is automatically broadcasted to all external LED signs managed by the TC-430™
and it is also used for properly driving the vocal announcement equipments.
If no destination is currently selected then external LED signs are turned blank.
7.2.2 Preferred destinations
TC-430™ allows the definition of a couple of destinations as the “preferred” destinations. The selection of
preferred destinations is very quick and can be made by simply pressing the soft keys labeled “Dest A” and
“Dest B” from the main screen (or alternatively by selecting “Menu
Service menu
Preferred destinations
Preferred destination A” or “Menu
Service menu
Preferred destinations
Preferred destination B”).
The configuration of preferred destinations is made by pressing “Set” (secondary function of the
corresponding soft key) on the main screen (or alternatively by selecting “Menu
Preferred destination
Select preferred destination A” or “Menu
Service menu
Preferred destination
Select preferred
destination B”).
If no destination is currently active (see paragraph 7.2) the destinations selection list is shown: the
destination selected by the user is then set as the preferred destination (A or B).
If a destination is currently active, then it is also possible to set the current destination as the preferred
destination. The screen in Figure 21 is shown. Pressing “Current” the current destination is set as the
preferred destination (A or B) while pressing “Pick” the list of available destinations is shown for allowing the
user to select the desired destination as the preferred destination (A or B).
