Figure 84: Automatic volume range configuration
The first slider shown in Figure 84 refers to the configuration of minimum volume, while the second slider
refers to the configuration of the maximum volume (being the latter always greater or equal than the former).
Sliders can be moved by dragging them on the touch-screen, or also by pressing “m-”, “m+”, “M-” and “M+”
for respectively decreasing and increasing the minimum volume or decreasing and increasing the maximum
volume.
Changes in volume and automatic volume configuration are immediately applied (so there is no need to
press any “Ok” button): simply press “Back” for confirming settings and exiting menus.
9.5.4 External announcements delay
It is generally useful to configure the external vocal announcement equipments to obey an initial delay before
starting an announcement, because announcements are normally performed when bus doors are being
opened and it is not desirable that the speech is overlapped by the noise of opening doors.
The configuration of such a behavior is accessible by selecting “Setup
Audio setup
External
announcements delay” (Figure 85).
Figure 85: External announcements delay configuration
The delay to be obeyed by vocal announcement equipments can be configured by dragging the slider in
Figure 85 on the touch-screen of by pressing “-” or “+” for respectively decreasing or increasing the delay
amount.
