A message is shown for every failed device (identified by its own logical address). If a device enters/exits the
failure conditions several times, then the full-screen message is shown only at first failure (since the TC-
430™ boot or the loading of a new data file).
11.2 Events handling
TC-430™ can monitor the current status of bus doors and wheelchair lift, if available and if connected to the
system. Please refer to TC-430™ installation and cabling documentation for further details about
connections and refer to paragraph 9.6 for signals configuration.
The following screens (Figure 131) are overlapped to the current visualization every time the doors are
opened or when the wheelchair lift becomes active.

Notification screen can be manually dismissed by the driver by pressing “Dismiss” or are automatically
dismissed as soon as the event that originated them goes back (notification screens will be shown again
next time the corresponding events occur).
If both doors are opened and wheelchair lift is active, then wheelchair lift notification takes precedence over
the doors notification.
11.3 Stop request
TC-430™ can be connected to the bus on-board stop request system, in order to provide visual and audio
feedback about the request to both driver and passengers.
The control unit can differentiate whether the stop request was requested for wheelchairs or not.
Please refer to TC-430™ schematics and service manual for instruction about control unit connection with
bus signals.
Screens show in Figure 132 are presented to driver when respectively the stop requested was intended for
wheelchairs or not.
