- the status of the bus doors (opened or closed);
- the status of the emergency button/pedal (pressed or not pressed);
- the status of the bus engine (on or off);
- the status of the wheelchair lift (active or inactive).
Depending on the specific hardware available on-board and on specific cablings, the logical level of those
signals might be adjusted for matching the real status of such devices/equipments.
The configuration can be made by accessing “Setup
I/O setup” (Figure 93).

Doors”, Emerg.”, Engine”, WChair”, Stop req.”, WChair stop can be pressed for respectively toggling
the logical status of bus doors, emergency button/pedal, bus engine and wheelchair lift (the logical status of
devices/equipments can also be toggled by tapping the correspondent icon on the left side of the touch-
screen), stop request and wheelchair stop request.
Signals should be toggled until the description of devices/equipments status match the real condition of the
systems (e.g., if the I/O configuration is performed while bus doors are open then the correspondent
description reported in Figure 93 should tell “Doors are OPENED”).
Changes are immediately applied (so there is no need to press any Ok button): simply press Back for
confirming settings and exiting menu.
9.8 Interfaces setup
9.8.1 Bus identification
TC-430™ can connect via wireless network to Verba 2014™, in order to receive data definition files and/or
commands issued by remote.
For being Verba 2014™ able to identify any bus, it is requested that an unique code is assigned to each bus,
corresponding to the buses base data programmed in Verba 2014™ itself.
The bus identification code (6 alphanumeric characters) can be configured by accessing “Setup
Interfaces
setup..
Bus identification” (Figure 94).
