Preparation of 4 mL sample (1:100) for LCMS
1 To prepare dilution solvent, add 800 µL methanol to 3200 µL Mobile Phase A.
4000µL dilution solvent (20% methanol in mobile phase A) is prepared.
2 To prepare sample (1:100), add 40 µL 2D-LC starter sample to 3960 µL
dilution solvent.
4 mL sample (1:100) is prepared.
A further dilution step to 1:1000 may be useful.
Preparation of 4 mL sample (1:1000) for LCMS
1 To prepare dilution solvent, add 800 µL methanol to 3200 µL Mobile Phase A.
4000µL dilution solvent (20% methanol in mobile phase A) is prepared.
2 To prepare sample (1:1000), add 4 µL 2D-LC starter sample to 3996 µL
dilution solvent.
4 mL sample (1:1000) is prepared.

Take care that the following solvents for mobile phases are available:
• 1D:
• A = water with 0.2 % Formic Acid-Reagent Grade 5 mL ( 5 cc) (G2453-85060)
• B = methanol
• 2D:
• A = water with 0.2 % Formic Acid-Reagent Grade 5 mL ( 5 cc) (G2453-85060)
• B = acetonitrile
