You will align and install the inlet septum nut in the next section.
Aligning the septum nut
For 250-µm and 320-µm on-column injections, the septum nut requires a 5-mm
through-hole septum.
1. To ensure proper alignment, thread the septum and the septum nut onto a
26-gauge or larger needle or a piece of wire. The septum should rest in the
cavity in the nut.
