6 Displaying Data
To decode LIN data
1 Select the LIN serial decode mode:
a Press the Acquire key.
b Press the Serial Decode softkey.
c In the Serial Decode Menu, press the Mode softkey.
d Use the Entry knob (or repeatedly press and release the
Mode softkey) to select the LIN serial decode mode.
2 Choose whether to include the parity bits in the identifier
field.
a If you want to mask the upper two parity bits, ensure that
the box under the Show Parity softkey is not selected.
b If you want to include the parity bits in the identifier field,
ensure that the box under the Show Parity softkey is
selected.
