8-18 PLC-5C to Logix5550 Controller: Scheduled Communications
Create the Producer
Application
Perform the following steps to create the PLC-5C producer application:
1. Start the RSLogix5 software.
2. From the File menu, select New. The Select Processor Type window will
appear.
3. Enter the following information and click on OK.
You will receive the following prompt:
4. Click on the Browse button and select the ControlNet Project file created
in RSNetWorx for ControlNet (e.g., “Sched_PLC_to_Logix5550”).
5. Set the ControlNet Node to 11.
6. Click on OK.
In this field Select
Processor Name PRODUCER
Platform ControlNet
Processor (Enter your processor type)
Series
(Enter your processor’s series)
(1)
(1)
F series is recommended but not required.
Revision (Enter revision letter)
Driver AB_KTC-1
Processor Node 11
