Situation Solution
Cooler module isn't cooling
properly.
• Check the cooling liquid reservoir. Fill it up if necessary.
• If error persists, replace the Light Source. See “Laser Phosphor Light
Source”, page 59.
Malfunction anode fan or
cathode fan.
Check the speed and voltage of the anode and cathode fan. Replace any
malfunctioning fan.
Code 5314: “LLS ambient - temperature sensor open” (Error)
Situation Solution
Connector of the temperature
sensor is disconnected
Plug the connector of the temperature sensor into its socket on the Signal
Backplane.
Disconnected wiring between
Signal Backplane and
temperature sensor in the air
outlet channel of the projector.
Check the connection between the wire units. The connection is made
behind the back cover.
Damaged wiring of the
temperature sensor.
1. Repair the wiring.
2. If not repairable, replace the whole wire unit and temperature sensor.
Defect temperature sensor. Replace the temperature sensor. Temperature sensor is visible through
the air outlet on top of the projector.
Code 5315: “LLS ambient - temperature sensor short ” (Error)
Situation Solution
Damaged insulation of the
wiring of the temperature
sensor which measures the
temperature in the channel of
the air outlet.
1. Repair the insulation of the wire unit using shrink sleeve.
2. If not repairable, replace the whole wire unit and temperature sensor.
Defect temperature sensor,
which measures the
temperature in the channel of
the air outlet.
Replace the temperature sensor.
Ignore any “temperature sensor open” errors that are triggered when disconnecting the temperature
sensor connector from the signal backplane.
Code 5320: “LCB - force light off”
Situation Solution
The Fan Control & Motor
board forces to switch off the
Laser Power Module due to an
Error.
Look for other errors in the log files and try to solve them first.
This can be due to:
• Temperature too high
• light unit not connected.
• Light processor is not connected.
Malfunction Cinema Control
board.
Replace the Cinema Control board. See service manual chapter
“Replacement of the Cinema Controller”, page 217.
Code 5340: “dmd red - temperature too high” (Error)
This error code is probably preceded by the warning code 5341: “dmd red - temperature high”. The same
troubleshooting table can be applied to.
