Code 20273: “LDM 1 – heatsink rectifier temperature sensor open”
For this error the same troubleshooting table can be applied to as for code 20261: “LDM 1 — heatsink pfc
temperature sensor open”.
Code 20274: “LDM 1 – Bad Communication”
Situation Solution
Difference in software
packages between LCB and
LDM.
Upgrade the software. See procedure “Software update via Communicator
(DC update companion)”, page 249.
Only the Laser Driver Module
has a communication error
1. Check if the LDM is powered. Ensure that the LDM is correctly wired.
2. Check if the communication wiring between LDM and Laser Control
Board (connector J500) properly inserted. If problem persists, replace
the communication cable.
3. If problem persists, replace the LDM. See service procedure “Replacing
a Laser Drive Module”, page 56.
There are other
communication errors:
Malfunction LCB
Replace the LCB. See service procedure “Replacing the Laser Control
Board (LCB)”, page 64.
Code 20275: “LDM 1 – No Communication”
Situation Solution
First install of Laser Driver
Module
Upgrade the software. See procedure “Software update via Communicator
(DC update companion)”, page 249.
LDM has no power Ensure the LDM is powered. Make sure it is correctly wired.
Cable issues between LDM
and LCB
1. Check communication wiring between LDM and Laser Control Board
(connector J500). Make sure it is properly inserted.
2. If problem persists, replace the communication cable.
There are other LDM
communication errors:
Malfunction LCB
1. Check if the communication wire between the LDM, LPM and Laser
Control board (Z3403440) is properly inserted on all ends.
2. If problem persists, replace the LCB. See service procedure “Replacing
the Laser Control Board (LCB)”, page 64.
Code 20276: “LDM 1 – Not configured (invalid module type)”
Situation Solution
Older or unsupported software
on Laser Driver Module
Upgrade the software. See procedure “Software update via Communicator
(DC update companion)”, page 249.
LDM type not supported. Replace the LDM. See service procedure “Replacing a Laser Drive
Module”, page 56.
Code 20278: “LDM 1 – Not configured (initialization failure)”
Situation Solution
Older or unsupported software
on Laser Driver Module
Upgrade the software. See procedure “Software update via Communicator
(DC update companion)”, page 249.
Wiring issue 1. Check communication wiring between LDM and Laser Control Board
(connector J500). Make sure it is properly inserted.
2. If problem persists, replace the communication cable.
