Code 20284: LDM 1 Fan 2 speed too low
Situation Solution
Fan speed too low of one fan
of the Laser Driver Module
1. Check fan wire connection on the Controller Board of the LDM
(reference 2, Image 25-91).
2. Remove the fan assembly. Check if the fan is not blocked .
3. Malfunctioning fan. Replacement needed.
For removing and replacing the fan, see procedure Removing a fan from
an LDM, page 51.
Error on both fans of the LDM.
Malfunction Control Board of
LDM.
Replace the LDM. See service procedure Replacing a Laser Drive
Module, page 56.
Code 20287: LDM 1 Fan 2 speed too high
Situation Solution
Fan speed too high of one fan
of the LDM
1. Malfunctioning fan. Replacement needed. Remove the fan from the
LDM and replace the fan. See service procedure Removing a fan from
an LDM, page 51.
2. If problem persist replace the LDM. See service procedure Replacing
a Laser Drive Module, page 56.
Fan speed error on both fans
of the LDM. Malfunction LDM.
Replace the LDM. See service procedure Replacing a Laser Drive

Code 20288: LDM 1 +12V voltage too low
Situation Solution
Faulty LDM board Check which LDM board is faulty. Remove one or multiple boards to see
which board triggers the +12 V error. See service procedure Replacing a
Laser Drive Module, page 56.
Code 20291: LDM 1 +12V voltage too high
Situation Solution
Malfunction LDM Replace the LDM. See service procedure Replacing a Laser Drive
Module, page 56.
Code 20292: LDM 1 +24V voltage too low
Situation Solution
Malfunction LDM fan(s) 1. Check fan wire connection on the Controller Board of the LDM
(reference 1, Image 25-91).
2. Check if the fan is not blocked .
3. Malfunctioning fan. Replacement needed.

Code 20295: LDM 1 +24V voltage too high
Situation Solution
