How to remove the light source combiner
1. Cut and remove all cable ties holding wiring and tubing to the combiner unit.
2. Remove the connectors from the Phosphor Wheel interconnection board (reference 1, Image 7-39).
3. Push the tubing away from the protective holder of the combiner unit (reference 2).

4. Remove the wiring of the Light Sensor Interconnection board. For more info, see “Replacing the Light Sensor
Interconnection Board”, page 74.
5. Remove the connectors of the two safety switches.
6. Remove the screws holding the Combiner to the rest of the light source. These are the following:
• Four Torx screws holding the combiner to the phosphor wheel (reference 3). Use a T20 Torx screwdriver to
loosen these screws.
• Four hex screws holding the combiner to the rest of the light source unit (reference 4). Use a 4 mm Allen
wrench to loosen these screws.
