6.4.3.10 Operation 31. Drain of sediment from fine fuel filter of the engine
If your tractor’s engine is equipped with a demountable fine fuel filter, sediment shall
be drained as follows:
- loosen air bleed plug 2 (Figure 6.4.26) by 1...2 revolutions;
- unscrew plug 3 in lower part of filter 1 and drain sediment until clean fuel appears;
drain the sediment into a special container;
- tighten plugs 2 and 3;
- fill the system with fuel (bleed the fuel system) according to section 6.4.5.17 “Op-
eration 64. Replacing filter of filter cartridge of fine fuel filter.”

If your tractor’s engine is equipped with an indecomposable fine fuel filter, sediment
shall be drained as follows:
- loosen air bleed plug 1 (Figure 6.4.27) by 1...2 revolutions;
- unscrew plug 2 in lower part of the filter and drain sediment until clean fuel ap-
pears;
- tighten plugs 1 and 2;
- fill the system with fuel (bleed the fuel system) according to section 6.4.5.17 “Op-
eration 64. Replacing filter of filter cartridge of fine fuel filter.”
