6.4.3.11 Operation 32. Maintenance of alternator and starter
Clean alternator and starter from dust and dirt.
Check the tightening of starter-retaining bolts, tighten them if necessary. Strip wire
ends to be connected to starter terminal and tighten their connections.
Check and, if necessary, tighten retaining bolts 2 (Figure 6.4.28) of alternator 3.
Check the condition and tightening force of three terminal connections 1 of the alternator.
If necessary, strip them and tighten them up.
