- unscrew plug 3 (Figure 6.4.59), located on the bolt that attaches the outlet fitting,
by 2..3 revolutions;
- bleed the system with the help of booster pump 1, and tighten the plug as soon as
fuel without air bubbles appears;
- unscrew plug 2 on fuel pump body (the location of air bleed plug is different for
fuel pumps of different type);
- bleed the system with the help of booster pump and tighten plug 2 as soon as fuel
without air bubbles appears.

6.4.5.18 Operation 65. Rinsing of oil pre-filter of the engine
To rinse the engine oil pre-filter 1 (Figure 6.4.60). do the following:
- loosen four clamps 2 of connecting hoses, and take out the filter from oil line 3, lo-
cated before the oil radiator of the engine;
ATTENTION: REMEMBER THE WAY THE FILTER WAS POSITIONED IN THE
OIL LINE. ARBITRARY INSTALLATION OF THE FILTER INTO THE OIL LINE IS NOT
ALLOWED!
- rinse the filter in diesel fuel and purge with compressed air in the direction indicat-
ed by the arrow on filter body;
- install the filter back to its place. When mounting the filter into the oil line, provide
for input of oil on the same side it was before filter removal;
- tighten the clamps of hoses with the torque from 3 to 3.5 Nm.
