Figure 5.6 Sample Guide
The sample guide serves to guide the
samples into the magnet. As the samples
drop down from the cassette into the mag-
net, they have to be safely led into the
proper position.
The sample guide is driven by a pneu-
matic cylinder placed in the base unit. The
pneumatic cylinder fits into the opening in
the rear side of the cassette (Figure 5.7).
In this opening there is a movable half
shell and a fixed half shell, which interact
with the sample guide.
