6. Open the slot latches  and insert the module into the socket  .

NOTE:
 Memory modules can be installed only in one direction. Match the notch on the
module with the tab on the DIMM socket. Push the module down into the socket,
ensuring that the module is fully inserted and properly seated.
 Heat sink and processor mounting hardware may appear different than illustrated in
this guide.
7. Close the slot latches.
8. Reassemble the server.
9. Reconnect the power cord and any external peripherals.
10. Turn on the server.
