Reset to Factory Defaults
Definition
Factory configurations are the default settings of all programmable features of HDPQ
Xplorer as it left the factory. Reset to factory default will erase all user data, including
recorded logs and events, reports and instrument setup files.
Procedure
Follow these steps to reset the HDPQ Xplorer to its factory configuration.
Action... Result...
STEP 1: From the Instrument
Settings menu, press Reset
Settings to Factory Defaults.
A confirmation message verifies
if you want to reset the instrument
settings to factory configuration.
NOTE: All saved data and setups
will be lost when you reset
instrument settings to factory
defaults.
On the confirmation dialog box:
• Press Yes to erase existing
settings and reset the
instrument to factory-
configured setups.
• Press No to cancel. The
window returns to the
Instrument Settings menu.
