Optional power
supply for
DRANFLEX
probes
If you are using DRANFLEX Series XL or MH (non-B) probes, an external power
supply is recommended for continuous operation. These probes can be operated on
battery power with two standard type "AA" batteries which provide 2000 life hours for
the XL and 80 life hours for the MH type probes.
NOTE: DRANFLEX Series XLB and MHB type probes are powered by the HDPQ
Xplorer instrument and do not require an external power supply.
The two models of optional power supply available for DRANFLEX current probes are
the ISOFLEX-MHXL and ISOFLEX-MHXLU.

Description
ISOFLEX-MHXL has a 12VDC input that is powered
from the AC adapter supplied as a standard accessory
for HDPQ Xplorer, HDPQ Guide or HDPQ Visa. This
power supply provides a pass through 12VDC output
for connection to power the instrument and a 3VDC
isolated output to power flex type current probes only.
Description
ISOFLEX-MHXLU is supplied with an attached wall
plug power supply and is supplied with
interchangeable input plugs for North America,
Europe, UK and Australia. The output of this
accessory provides a 3VDC output to power flex type
current probes only.
