4.3 Updating firmware
The case controller is supplied with the current firmware, ready for operation. Future software versions can
beloadedintothecasecontrollerasrequiredbymeansofafirmwareupdate,andthusupdated.
ATTENTION
Danger data loss! In some cases a change of firmware version can lead to the loss of all the setpoints
in the case controller.
As a precaution, the settings must be backed up by saving them to the LDSWin PC software, prior to
the update. After the firmware update the backup settings can be reloaded into the controller from
LDSWin.
A software update is only to be carried out by trained staff or factory-side by the manufacturer. More
