12 Technical Data of UA 4xx E
12.1 Electrical data
UA 400 E CC / UA 401 E CC / UA 410 E AC
Electrical data
Operating voltage 230 V AC (+/- 10%), 50/60 Hz (+/- 3 Hz)
Rated power 11 VA
Leakage current via PE max 1 mA
Relay outputs 4 x normally open contact, 230 V AC, floating output, min 10 mA
Load type: ohmic: max. 6 A inductive: max. 3 A, cos phi = 0.4
1 x changeover contact, 230 V AC, floating output, min 10 mA (UA 401 E: without
changeover)
Load type: ohmic: max. 6 A inductive: max. 3 A, cos phi = 0.4
Semiconductor relay (SSR = Solid State Relay, normally open contact):
2 x 250 V AC (UA 401 E: only 1), 1 A, must be externally fused with 1.25 A
superflink (FF), rated voltage 250 V AC, with melting integral << 10.4 A
2
s and
tripping time at 8.0 A < 10 ms, (e.g. part number 70 001 40 - manufacturer SIBA).
Note: If large inductive loads (e.g. coils of valves) should be switched via the
semiconductor relays (relays 2/3), protective devices appropriate to the loads must
be connected (e.g. an RC element and a varistor) in order to prevent the
destruction of the SSRs due to overvoltage. Information about appropriate
protective devices as well as measures for the minimisation of overvoltage can be
obtained from the manufacturer.
Transistor outputs 2 x 24 V DC pull down switching transistor with internal current limitation to 50 mA
for lighting control and frame heater
Digital inputs 4 x 230 V AC, floating output
Analogue inputs
1)
10 x 2-wire temperature sensor for sensor types L243/K243, K277, 5K3A1 (UA
401 E: only 5)
Note: If sensor cables are exclusively laid within the refrigerated case to be
monitored and sources of interference (e.g. from parallel power cables) are not
anticipated, then it is possible to dispense with shielding.
Only UA 410 E AC:
2 x 4..20 mA
Analogue outputs
1)
Only UA 410 E AC:
2 x 0..10 V short-circuit protection
Warning about dangerous electrical voltage! Danger to life - Danger of electric shock!
OvervoltagecategoryIII(testvoltage4.0kV)/contaminationdegree2:Allconnectionsofthe
device provided for operation with 230 V AC supply voltage must be wired with the same phase
conductor. 400 V AC between neighbouring connection terminals is notpermitted!
OvervoltagecategoryII(testvoltage2.5kV)/contaminationdegree2 or
overvoltagecategoryII(testvoltage2.5kV)/contaminationdegree1:Differentphaseconductors
may be used. 400 V AC between neighbouring connection terminals is permitted
