With the controller type UK 100 E or the controller type KR 160 E, control can be performed both via the
subcooler outlet temperature / cascade outlet temperature as well as via t

In menu 6-1, the pack number must be set to the pack controller for the control circuit which provides the
refrigeration. For example, in cascade controller operation this is the NT control circuit.
In menu 6-2-6, the second analogue input must be parametrised. The associated parameters must be set
as follows:
Set AIN2 aktiv to "Yes"
Select Kältem.Z 2
Fkt. AIN2 must be set to "tc TK"
The limits for the pressure transmitter must be set via the parameters HD Z2 Min and HD Z2 Max
Optional:Usingtheparameter“Verb.tcTK”,theCANbusaddressofthepackcontrollercanbe
parametrised for the reception of tc via the CAN bus (e.g. as backup value (fallback) in the event of
the failure of the local pressure transmitter or for saving on the local pressure transmitter).
The value of the pressure transmitter connected to the analogue input AIN2 (terminals 11/14) is preferred for
theregulation.Ifthishasbeendisabledorfails,thetcreceivedfroma“remotecasecontroller”isusedif
possible (see chapter Sending and receiving of analogue values via CAN bus).Ifthisisnotavailable,thetc
transmittedfromthepackcontrollerviaCANbusisusedatthelowestfallbacklevel.Ifthisisalsonotavailable,
the sensors R4.1 / R4.2 (subcooler / cascade outlet temperatures 1/2) are used for the regulation.
If the transcritical range is exceeded during the measurement of tc with the refrigerant R744 (C02), the
temperaturecontinuestobeconverted,howeveritnolongercorrespondstothepressure.
Thereisnobuilt-inlimitationat31°Cinthisversion.Thereiscurrentlyalsonopressurerecordedordisplayed
regarding t

butonlythetemperatures.
This function is not supported by older pack controllers. Therefore, it must be clarified before use
whether the associated pack controller also supports this function. A firmware update may have to be
performed for the pack controller.
