5.9.1 Single Pressurised Calibration (Option)

When using the pressurised calibration option a high pressure zero should be connected to the
Calibration Port.
Equipment Required
• Calibrated Flow Meter
• Gas Cylinder and Accessories
Procedure
1. Ensure the gas cylinder is fitted with an appropriate gas regulator with a shut off valve.
2. Connect a ¼” line of stainless steel tubing between the gas cylinder and the instruments Calibration
Port.
Note: This connection may need to be retightened during this operation.
3. Open the cylinder main valve and adjust the regulator to 15 psig.
4. Open the regulator’s shutoff valve and test for leaks:
a. Pressurise the line.
b. Close the cylinder main valve.
c. If pressure drops by more than 2 PSI over five minutes, check the connections and retest.
d. Open cylinder main valve.
