2. Remove the Kynar ¼”nut located on the elbow at the top of the scrubber to be changed. Disconnect
the elbow.

3. Release the scrubber from the retaining clip.
4. Remove the Kynar ¼”nut located on the elbow at the bottom of the scrubber. Disconnect the
elbow.
5. Connect the elbow fitting to the new scrubber and tighten the Kynar ¼”nut at the bottom of the
new scrubber.
6. Press the scrubber into the retaining clip and connect the top elbow to the top of the scrubber and
tighten the Kynar ¼” nut.
6.4.5 Clean Pneumatics
The Calibration Valve Manifold will require disassembling and cleaning. Ideally the vales and manifold
should be cleaned in a sonic bath with lab detergent and distilled water. Once clean rinse with distilled
water and dry with clean dry oil free air before reassembling. A leak check should be performed once
the instrument is ready for operation (refer to Section 6.4.3).
Note: If the tubing shows signs of significant contamination, it should be replaced with new tubing
After tube or cell cleaning the instrument should be allowed to sample O3 at approximately 0.400
ppm overnight to recondition the pneumatics prior to calibration.
6.4.6 Clean Optical Cell

Phillips Head Screwdriver (1 no.)
Deionised Water (Consumable)
Isopropanol Alcohol (Consumable)
