Main Menu → Service Menu → Diagnostics Menu → Digital Pots Menu
Digital pots are electronically controlled digital potentiometers used for adjustments to operations of
the instrument. Each of the digital pots can go from 0 - 255. This menu should be accessed only during
diagnostics.
Unless the Control Loop is Disabled (refer to Section 3.4.15), changes to the pots may be modified by
the instrument. This is intentional; some diagnostics are best done with instrument feedback and some
are best done without.
New instrument does not use the lamp adjust pot; the pot
value will default to 255.
Displays the UV lamp current in mA.
Displays the gain of the PGA.
Reduces the raw signal to measurable level.
The concentration voltage measured by the analog to digital
converter.
The concentration voltage after adjustment for the PGA gain
factor.
Electronic zero for the measure channel.
Electronic zero for the measure channel.
The reference voltage of the detector.
O3 Gen. Override
[IZS option]
When On, enables the user to manually control of the O3
generator.
O3 Gen. Enable
[IZS option]
When On allows the user to turn on or off the O3 generator.
Only editable if the Override is On.
O3 Gen. Pot (COARSE)
[IZS option – Pot]
O3 generator lamp. Only editable if the Override is On. This
field only appears on older instruments which control the O3
generator through a coarse and fine pot; newer ones use a
DAC.
O3 Gen. Pot (FINE)
[IZS option – Pot]
O3 generator lamp. Only editable if the Override is On. This
field only appears on older instruments which control the O3
generator through a coarse and fine pot; newer ones use a
DAC.
O3 Gen DAC
[IZS option – DAC]
O3 generator lamp. Only editable if the Override is On. This
field only appears on newer instruments which control the
O3 generator through a DAC.
O3 Gen. Current
[IZS option]
The O3 generator lamp current, as determined by the pot
setting.
