C. GLOBAL MAPPING CHART
Global MIDI and Pedal Control allows you to dene external controllers such as MIDI controllers, aux
switches, and expression pedals that will always affect the H90’s parameters, regardless of what Program
is loaded. For example, if you’d like an expression pedal to always control HotKnob P, you can congure
this using the Global Pedal Control.
The H90 has no default MIDI CC or external controller mappings, all mappings are customizable by
the user.
Global Pedal Mappings and Global MIDI Mappings offer the same parameter mapping options. See
chart below.
Tip
An Active/Bypass mapping such as “P Act/Byp” will toggle between the active and bypassed state of
the Program, this will be triggered by a MIDI CC value of 64 or greater.
When usingP Act/Byp (M), the bypassed state will be triggered with a CC value less than 64, the
active state will be triggered with a CC value of 64 or greater.
Using “P Act/Byp (M)” can allow you to send a separate Bypass and Active MIDI message by simply
programming one switch to send a CC value less than 64, and another switch to send a CC value of
64 or greater.
