TRANSCEIVER OPERATIONS

AGC presets:

· OFF - AGC is off.

Set this AGC preset, if you need to switch off the AGC.

Note:

If the AGC is OFF, RF knob will adjust the IF gain.

· LONG - Long AGC.

Set the LONG preset to use long AGC reaction (approximately 750 ms). Recommended for

phone modes.

· SLOW - Slow AGC.

Set the SLOW preset to use slow AGC reaction (approximately 500 ms). Recommended for

phone, digital modes.

· MED - Medium AGC.

Set the MED preset to use medium AGC reaction (approximately 250 ms). Recommended

for CW, digital modes.

· FAST - Fast AGC.

Set the FAST preset to use fast AGC reaction (approximately 100 ms). Recommended for

CW, digital modes.

· USER - Custom AGC.

Set the USER preset to use custom AGC reaction (by default the slowest 1000 ms).

Note:

AGC settings influence the quality of the received signal. Be careful selecting the AGC preset

or tuning your own preset.
