ATU OPERATION
Automatic Tuner Unit (ATU) allows to match a load impedance, different from 50 Ohm, with
the output 50 Ohm transmitter impedance.
Enable the Tuner in the ATU SETTINGS local panel to use it in the TX mode.
1. Press and hold the TUN button on the front panel of the transceiver to call up the local panel.
2. Press the TX button in the local panel - it will activate the Tuner in the TX mode.
3. Press and hold the TUN button or press "X" in the panel top right corner to close the panel.
4. Short press the TUN button on the front panel of the transceiver, will activate orange LED
above the TUN button.
Transceiver will turn to TX mode, begin to transmit carrier frequency 15-20 W and tune.
5. After the tuning, transceiver will disable the tuning mode - orange LED above the TUN button
will be deactivated.
6.a. If the RX AFTER TUNED button is enabled, the transceiver will turn to RX mode after
tuning.
6.b. If the RX AFTER TUNED button is disabled, the transceiver will stay in TX mode after
tuning.
Warning!
i Tuner's states are saved with 50 kHz step!
i Watch for the Tuner and SWR readings, if you need to operate on the other
frequency - perform the tuning again!
