4. Enable streaming (for both encoding types) and recording (for archive encoding) as
desired by checking the Streaming Enabled or Recording Enabled check boxes.
5. For recording (in the Archive Encoder column) select Audio + Video or Video
Only from the Recording Enabled drop-down list and select an option from the
Default Preset drop-down list.
6. Configure audio encoding (see Configure Video Encoding on page94).
7. Configure video encoding (see Configure Video Encoding on page94).
8. Configure streaming settings (see Configure Streaming on page97).
9. In the Encoder Presets panel (figure 63,

), select (click on) an unassigned preset.
10. Click Save Preset (

) and select Archive from the pop-up list to save the
corresponding parameters. The Preset Name field is now editable and changes from
"[unassigned]" to "ENCODER PRESET nn," (

) the default name for that preset
number.

NOTE: Any of the presets, including the factory default presets, can be changed,
renamed, and saved.
11. Use the default preset name or enter a new name.
12. Click anywhere else in the Web page to save the preset name.
Configure Video Encoding
To configure video encoding settings for a preset:
1. Check the Streaming Enabled or Recording Enabled box to enable streaming
(for both encoding types) and recording (for archive encoding) as desired.
