and the minus sign/hyphen (-). The first character must be an alpha character. The last
character must not be a minus.
X2@ = Verbose/Response mode 0=clear/none (default for Telnet connections)
1=verbose mode (default for USB and RS-232 host control)
2=tagged responses for queries
3=verbose mode and tagged responses for queries
NOTE: If tagged responses is enabled, all read commands return
the data, the same as setting the value does
