Jumper Reference: Enter the number of jumpers you will
use in each fiber path when you set the reference. The
dotted lines in the diagram on the screen show you which
parts of the link are included in the test results. See
Reference Method above.
Figure 58 shows the No. of Connectors/Splices screen.
Figure 59 shows how to count the jumpers, connectors, and
splices for this setting.
TRC LENGTH
(Test refer-
ence cord
length)
You can enter length of your test reference cords when you
set the reference. To enter this value, tap TRC LENGTH on the
SET REFERENCE screen. The length you enter does not change
the test results. The tester saves the length with the results to
meet TIA reporting requirements.
