Configuring call parking
Call park is a feature for placing a call on hold and then retrieving it from any other local
extension. By default, the FortiVoice unit has 20 park orbits, 301–320.
To view the parked calls, see “Viewing parked calls” on page 25.
To configure call parking
1. Go to Call Features > Call Parking > Call Parking.
Periodic

If you select Periodic or Random announcement method,
select a sound file for the announcement/greeting. You can
edit a selected sound file or create a new one. For more
information on sound files, see “Managing sound files and
music on hold” on page 113.

If you select Periodic announcement method, enter the
announcement frequency in seconds.
Announce position Select to announce a caller’s waiting position in the queue,
such as “You are caller No. 5 in the call queue”.
No: Caller position in the queue is not announced.
Yes: Always announce caller position in the queue.
More: The caller’s position is only announced once if caller is
over the marked position (Position limit in queue) and always
announced when caller is within the marked position. For
example, if you set 5 for Position limit in queue, and if the
caller is number 8 in the queue, the caller’s position is only
announced once before he/she becomes number 5. After
that, the caller’s position is announced every 3 minutes by
default. You can change the time interval through CLI.
Limit: The caller’s position is only announced every 3 minutes
by default if caller is within the marked position (Position limit
in queue).

If you select More or Limit for Announce position, enter the
value to mark the queue position.
Agent
Configure Agents Click to enroll agents into the queue.
Click Configure Agents.
Click New.
In the Name field, select the agents for this queue.
Click Create.
Click OK.
