Inserting the
basket-type
spool
CAUTION!
Danger from springiness of spooled wire electrode.
This can result in injuries.

While inserting the basket-type spool, hold the end of the wire electrode
firmly to avoid injuries caused by the wire springing back.
CAUTION!
Danger from falling basket-type spool.
This can result in injuries.

Make sure that the basket-type spool and basket-type spool adapter are fit-
ted securely to the wirespool holder.
NOTE!
When working with basket-type spools, only use the basket-type spool adapter
included in the scope of supply.
CAUTION!
Danger from falling basket-type spool.
This can result in injuries.

Place the basket-type spool on the adapter provided in such a way that the
bars on the spool are inside the adapter guideways.
CAUTION!
Danger from the basket-type spool falling because the locking ring has been
placed the wrong way around.
This can result in personal injury and function impairment.
▶
Always position the locking ring as shown in the diagram on the left.
