Connecting the
mains cable -
general
CAUTION!
Risk of injury and damage from short circuits.
Short circuits can occur between the phase conductors or between the phase
conductors and the ground conductor unless ferrules are used.

Strip the insulation of the mains cable and fit ferrules to all phase conduct-
ors, as well as the ground conductor.
NOTE!
Mains cables must be connected to devices in compliance with national stand-
ards and guidelines and the work must be carried out by suitably qualified per-
sonnel!
IMPORTANT! The ground conductor should be approx. 20 - 25 mm (0.8 - 1 in.)
longer than the phase conductors.
