Typically, when connecting to the Internet, your router is assigned an
unused public IP address from a pool, and this address changes
periodically.
Dynamic DNS allows a static domain name to be mapped to the
dynamic IP address, allowing a computer within your network to be
more easily accessible from the Internet.
When using Dynamic DNS, each time the public IP address changes, the
DNS database is automatically updated with the new IP address. In this
way, even though the IP address changes often, the domain name
remains constant and accessible.
To set up dynamic DNS:
1. Select Dynamic DNS
2. To set up a new entry, click the Add button.
NETWORK SETTINGS
3. Configure the following parameters:
• Host Name – enter the full domain name for your Dynamic DNS
domain.
• Provider – select the Dynamic DNS account provider from the menu.
• User Name – enter your user name for your Dynamic DNS account.
• Password – enter the password for your Dynamic DNS account.
• SSL Mode – select if your Dynamic DNS service supports SSL. Click
