5. Hold the handles on both sides of the fusing
unit, and pull out the unit a little.
Important
• The fusing unit weights approximately 2.3 kg. Be careful
not to drop the unit.
6. Hold the both sides of the fusing unit, and
remove the unit from the machine.

not to drop the unit.
7. Take out a new fusing unit from the box.
8. Hold the both sides of the new fusing unit,
and then place the unit onto the machine.
Important
• Hold the fusing unit with both hands so that you do not
drop it.
9. While holding the fusing unit with one hand,
tighten the screws on both sides with the
other hand.
10. Push the center of the Cover A and close the
cover gently, and then close Tray 5.
11. Switch on the power.
