8.6.2.3 Show Diff. Curr./Prev. Version
This function is offered only if the consistency check mechanism is available on the system
being observed.
It is used to show the difference between the current and the previous versions using the
graphical Diff tool. The two versions are displayed in synchronized text windows. The differ-
ences are marked with colors and the number is shown at the bottom right in the status line.
Selecting “View / Show Line Comparison Window” in the View menu also enables differenc-
es within individual lines to be shown. The Diff tool has its own help system in English.
