8.10.2.1 Show SCSI Sense
The device emulation of CentricStor works internally as a protocol converter from
the channel to the SCSI protocol and vice versa. In a CentricStor ICP the SCSI
interface is only emulated. In the real system the device emulation works with the
interfaces of the file system to the RAID cache. However, because internal
processing takes place as SCSI, the error display is accordingly in SCSI notation
because this is standardized.
The menu item produces a text page containing the most recent SCSI sense information:
