8-4-9-4 Peripheral Power Cable Installation Procedure
Correct routing of the Peripheral AC Outlet cable is shown in Figure 8-86, below.
NOTE: Before starting the routing procedure adhere two plastic cable holders to the metal linear guide bracket
as shown in Figure 8-86 (middle picture).
1.) Insert the replacement Peripheral Power cable and power socket in position in the SafeLock’s
Upper Cover (front) (see item 4 in Figure 8-72 page 8-62).
2.) With the AC power socket plugged into the cart (Figure 8-86, left picture), connect the ground cable
to the body of the cart.
3.) Route the Peripheral AC Outlet cable as shown in the middle picture of Figure 8-86.
4.) Secure the cable with the cable clamp in the direction shown in Figure 8-87.
5.) Route the cable and the ground cable over the plastic cable holders (Figure 8-86 middle picture)
and secure the cables with the tie-wraps.
