Note: When failing to load PMC version 23
In some cases, PMC loading may fail. Failure is indicated when performing step 17 above if a value
other than 23 is shown for the PMC version. In this case the process needs to be repeated. Other
indications of failure are that the system does not shut down automatically (step 11 above), or there
is a strange pattern on the display.
In the event that failure has occurred, perform a full shut-down (if necessary, remove the AC
adapter if the system seems to be "frozen"). Re-boot the system in Maintenance mode, using the
AC adapter only. Continue from step 5 above.
