6.22 Selecting the Axis Alignment Tool
This function allows you to specify the tool to use for manually performing axis
alignment.
SELECTING THE AXIS ALIGNMENT TOOL
1Press the MENU key.
2 2. Press the NEXT key until the following menu appears.
3Press the F4 key (FUNCTION 2). The following menu appears.
4Press the F2 key (AXIS ALIGNMENT). The following menu appears.
5Press the F4 key (TOOL). The following menu appears.
6 The asterisk “*” indicates the currently selected setting. If you are going to use
the light pointer, press the F3 key (LIGHT POINT). If you are going to use the
loupe, press the F4 key (LOUPE).
7Press the ENTER key to register your setting.
8Press the MENU key to return the plotter to Ready status.
This setting is retained in the plotter’s internal memory even when the power is
turned off.
