6.4 Setting the Cutting/Plotting Area
The Upper Right (UR) and Lower Left (LL) functions are used to specify the
effective cutting/plotting area. Any data outside the specified cutting/plotting area
is disregarded. Note that setting of the cutting/plotting area also repositions the
origin point in accordance with the movement of the cutting/plotting area.
For the front loading model, rotate the above figure 180 degrees.
SETTING PROCEDURE
1Press the MENU key.
2Press the NEXT key until the following menu appears.
3Press the F2 key (AREA PARAMETERS). The following menu appears.
Note: ORIGIN is only displayed when the COMMAND setting is HP-GL.
4Press the F2 key (AREA). The following menu appears.
5Use the POSITION keys to move the pen carriage to the desired lower-left
setting position.
