Preparing to Cut: Aligning the Pinch Rollers

When Feeding Long-axis Media (at least 2 meters)
Position the pinch rollers at least 15 mm inside the edges of the media.
When the Media Width is 100 to 160 mm
Position the two right-hand pinch rollers so that they are above the long grit roller
at the right edge of the plotter when the plotter is viewed from the front. Position
the media so that its left edge is aligned with the left edge of the grit roller, and
then position the pinch rollers over both edges. Move any pinch rollers that are not
used to the standby position.
CAUTION: • The media must be at least 125 mm in length.
• The media must always be positioned over the media sensor.
When the Media Width is 160 to 540 mm
Position the two right-hand pinch rollers when the plotter is viewed from the front
so that they are at the edges of the media. Make sure that the pinch rollers are
both positioned over grit rollers. Move any pinch rollers that are not used to the
standby position.
CAUTION: The media must always be positioned over the media sensor.
